You didn't know you need to know teleology.
Or, in the words of the book of Esther, "For such a time as this." As Esther faced a confusing crisis and as God remained hidden, she is reminded - as are we - that there is always divine purpose.
We may be confused and disoriented; we may even doubt and disbelieve. We may suffer. But God is still present. His purposes are always being accomplished.
And for this we have hope: for such a time as this.
