It is hard to think of an infinite God as being patient. After all, time is of no issue to Him, correct? True, but it does matter in the world He has created. It matters to us. The authors of Scripture refer to Him as being patient for our benefit. Our response? To have opportunity to engage with Him, to repent, to worship.
